Alta closed last week to the lift served public and reopened to the backcountry. Over about 5 days last week it snowed 41 inches and Aaron Kennard and I were able to ski these lines in the middle of that. Visibility was terrible but the snow was great. A lot of stuffing in the chutes but nothing breaking deeper. On the apron after Little Chute the snow was a bit more slabby but still manageable. Overall it was a pretty awesome day!
About how far we could see for most of the day as Aaron takes the last few steps to the summit
Aaron skiing down Little Chute
Me skiing down Main Chute, captured by Luke (chuting project) who we met on the summit
Collins lap to finish off the day, of course the best visibility of the day
